Role Overview

SAP EWM Functional Lead responsible for overseeing warehouse operations while driving SAP WM/EWM solutions and process optimization. The role combines hands-on SAP expertise with operational leadership to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable warehouse processes in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize warehouse operations using SAP WM/EWM solutions

• Manage inventory control processes and ensure data accuracy across systems

• Analyze and improve warehouse workflows for efficiency and performance

• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Provide functional expertise in SAP EWM/WM within SAP S/4HANA environments

• Support or lead SAP implementation cycles (design, testing, go-live, support)

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse teams and operational activities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, logistics, business stakeholders)

• Support issue resolution and continuous system/process enhancements

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations and management

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP WM/EWM (operational or consulting)

• Strong understanding of warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, inventory management

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments (preferred)

• Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations

• 3+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong analytical and process optimization skills

• Experience working in structured or regulated environments (defense/military is a plus)

• Ability to manage both operational and system-related responsibilities

• NATO passport required
