Role Overview

Infrastructure Specialist responsible for operating and optimizing SAP BTP Cloud Foundry SaaS environments using DevOps and SRE practices. The role focuses on CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and reliability of Java and Node.js microservices in cloud environments. The position ensures system stability, observability, and performance while collaborating with engineering and operations teams to support production services and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SAP BTP Cloud Foundry SaaS environments

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for microservices deployments

• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions

• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using observability tools

• Apply SRE practices for incident resolution and service reliability

• Support Java, Node.js, and JavaScript microservices in production

• Collaborate with Dev and Ops teams to improve platform stability

• Perform troubleshooting across systems, networks, and applications

• Support scripting and automation in Python, Bash, or similar languages

• Participate in incident handling and operational support activities

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years SAP Cloud DevOps/SRE experience (SaaS environments)

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry

• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC

• Knowledge of system administration, networking, security, and performance tuning

• Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, etc.)

• Scripting/programming in Java, Node.js, Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Strong understanding of SRE principles and incident management

• Excellent English communication skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM or BTP AI Core

• Exposure to generative AI or advanced cloud automation

• Experience handling critical incidents and customer bridge calls

• Experience working with distributed international teams

• German language skills
