Role Overview

IBM i / AS400 Application Developer responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing business applications running on IBM i platforms. The role focuses on RPG and COBOL development, database interactions, and supporting critical business processes within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications on IBM i (AS/400) platforms
• Implement enhancements and corrective changes using RPG and COBOL
• Create and optimize SQL and DB2 database queries
• Develop and maintain CL programs and batch processes
• Analyze and resolve application issues
• Support testing and deployment activities
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver solutions

Required Skills

• Experience with IBM i (AS/400) environments
• Knowledge of RPG (ILE RPG, Free RPG, RPG III, or RPG IV)
• Experience with COBOL development
• Strong SQL and DB2 skills
• Knowledge of CL programming
• English and French language skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
