We are seeking a skilled Mainframe COBOL/CICS/JCL developer responsible for maintaining and implementing corrective and evolutionary changes for financial products in the banking and insurance sectors. The role requires expertise in COBOL programming and familiarity with mainframe transaction and database environments, ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions for Financial Services clients.

• Maintain and enhance financial applications on Mainframe (z/OS) platforms

• Implement corrective and evolution changes for banking and insurance products

• Collaborate with team members to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met

• Utilize COBOL programming to support stable and efficient application functionality

• Work with CICS, JCL, and DB2 to manage transactions and database interactions

• Apply SQL knowledge to query, manipulate, and report data efficiently

• Encourage communication and collaboration within the team to achieve shared goals

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Mainframe development

• Proficiency in COBOL programming

• Experience with CICS, JCL, and DB2

• Advanced knowledge of SQL

• Ability to collaborate effectively and support team objectives

• Fluency in at least 2 languages (e.g., English + French, English + German)

• Knowledge of relational databases (preferably DB2), VSAM files, or hierarchical databases (IMS)

• Familiarity with mainframe data storage ecosystems and architectures

• Experience with financial services applications (banking, insurance)
