Role Overview

SAP UX Developer responsible for designing and developing modern user experiences using SAPUI5/Fiori, while leveraging SAP BTP for extensions and integrations. The role focuses on building scalable frontend solutions, enabling Fiori applications, and integrating them with backend SAP systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAPUI5/Fiori applications for enterprise use

• Build and support side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP using CAP (Java/Node.js)

• Design and consume OData and RESTful services for frontend applications

• Enable and optimize technical components for Fiori apps and automation

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, XSUAA)

• Configure and manage BTP services such as destinations and event mesh/queues

• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using IDOC, ALE, RFC, SOAP, and file interfaces

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes

• Collaborate with functional teams (e.g., FI/CO) and backend developers

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in SAPUI5/Fiori development

• Good understanding of SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma)

• Experience with CAP framework (Java or Node.js)

• Strong knowledge of OData and REST APIs

• Basic to intermediate ABAP knowledge

• Familiarity with SAP FI/CO processes

• Experience with integration technologies (IDOC, ALE, RFC, SOAP, file interfaces)

• Understanding of security concepts (OAuth2, XSUAA)

• Experience with CI/CD and modern development practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and collaboration abilities
