Role Overview

Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect responsible for leading the design and delivery of finance-related solutions within Defense & Security programs. The role combines deep functional expertise across FI/CO/FM/AM with leadership responsibilities across full project lifecycles, ensuring alignment between business requirements and SAP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Finance solution design across FI, CO, AM, and FM modules

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for finance processes within S/4HANA environments

• Drive solution architecture decisions across multiple functional domains

• Lead and coordinate teams across full SAP implementation lifecycles

• Translate business requirements into scalable and integrated SAP solutions

• Oversee system design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities

• Ensure alignment between functional processes and system capabilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration

• Support testing phases (unit, integration, UAT, regression, stress) and go-live activities

• Provide post-production support and continuous improvement recommendations

• Engage with stakeholders and drive solution adoption

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP experience, with deep expertise in FI, CO, AM, or FM

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, ideally within Defense & Security (D&S)

• Proven experience leading teams across multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations

• Strong understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Ability to design cross-functional SAP solutions spanning multiple modules

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across complex enterprise environments

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Experience working in defense or military support organizations
