Role Overview

SAP ABAP Developer responsible for building and integrating solutions across SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP. The role focuses on developing side-by-side extensions, enabling Fiori applications, and implementing secure, scalable integration services using modern SAP technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ABAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA, particularly in FI/CO areas

• Build side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP using CAP (Java/Node.js)

• Design and implement OData and RESTful services

• Develop and support SAPUI5/Fiori applications and related technical enablers

• Implement and manage integration interfaces (IDOC, ALE, RFC, SOAP, file-based)

• Configure and maintain BTP services (destinations, XSUAA security, event mesh/queues)

• Ensure secure communication using OAuth2 and related protocols

• Monitor and troubleshoot integration and application issues

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in SAP ABAP development in S/4HANA environments

• Good understanding of SAP FI/CO processes

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma)

• Experience with CAP framework (Java or Node.js)

• Strong knowledge of OData and REST APIs

• Experience with SAPUI5/Fiori applications

• Familiarity with integration technologies (IDOC, ALE, RFC, SOAP, file interfaces)

• Understanding of authentication and security concepts (OAuth2, XSUAA)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities
