Role Overview
The Application Consultant – SAP Finance (FI/CO) is responsible for supporting, configuring, and
enhancing SAP Finance solutions within an Application Management Services (AMS) context.
The role focuses on SAP FI configuration, functional analysis, and cross-module integration, ensuring
stable financial operations and continuous improvement of finance processes across enterprise systems.
This is a functional consultant role, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and
support organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Finance configuration & support
• Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts
Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Banking
• Maintain and adjust document types, posting keys, tax configuration, payment methods, and house bank
setups
• Support asset accounting configuration and financial postings
Integration & functional analysis
• Support integration points between FI–CO, FI–MM, and FI–SD
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
• Write clear functional specifications for custom developments
AMS & operational support
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change tickets using AMS tools
• Support finance-related issues through structured troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with financial processes and accounting principles
Continuous improvement & collaboration
• Identify process improvement opportunities within SAP Finance
• Collaborate with technical teams during enhancements and fixes
• Support testing, validation, and documentation activities
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong expertise in SAP FI configuration and finance processes
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial operations
• Experience with SAP integration across finance and logistics modules
• Experience working in AMS / ticket-based delivery models
• Ability to work with tools such as Solution Manager, ServiceNow, or Jira

• Knowledge of CO submodules (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders)
